North American Savings Bank (NASB) Appoints New Chief Information Officer

North American Savings Bank (NASB) announced today that Tim Franchett has joined the company as chief information officer (CIO). In this role, Franchett will lead the vision, strategy and operations of the Information Technology team and work with technology partners to create exceptional experiences for their NASB customers. 

“Tim is a forward-thinking and creative leader who brings 33 years of leadership and IT expertise to NASB,” said NASB CEO Paul Thomas. “His significant experience in development, operations and client services will prove especially valuable as we continue to grow our digital capabilities, modernize NASB’s processes and align our technology roadmap with business strategies.” 

Most recently, Franchett served for 11 years as vice president of Technology Services for H&R Block in Kansas City, Missouri where he was responsible for Application Development, managing over 400 developers in the U.S., Ireland, and India.

In addition to his leadership role at H&R Block, Franchett was global head of Development managing 300 software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers in seven development centers worldwide.
