Online Account Protection

Protecting you and your deposits is our number one priority.

When bad actors get more aggressive, so do we.

Like many banks, NASB is seeing an unusual level of fraudulent activity recently from online account openings.

To protect our customers, NASB is now requiring identification to release funds; similar to showing ID when you go to the teller line for a withdrawal. While we understand this may be an inconvenience, this ensures us that the right person is getting the funds from an account started online.

We are insured by the FDIC, an independent agency of the United States government, that protects bank depositors against the loss of their insured deposits if an FDIC-insured bank or savings association fails. We have enacted this extra layer of protection to safeguard our customers and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
