NASB has made the decision to consolidate to one branch location in Lafayette County. The branch at 228 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO 64076 will permanently close at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021. You may continue to access your accounts, pay bills, and transfer money through the NASB mobile app, or online at NASB.com. All services offered at this branch will be available at our Lexington, Independence, and Lee’s Summit branch locations. No action by you will be necessary.

Odessa closing FAQs

The Odessa market is very competitive with a large number of banking options based on the population size. By consolidating our Lafayette County efforts in our Lexington Branch, we feel that this will provide the best opportunity for NASB and experience for our customers.
There is nothing that you need to do. Once the Odessa Branch closes on 9/30/21, any remaining active accounts will be migrated over to the Lexington Branch. All online banking credentials, checks and debit cards will be unaffected.
With our robust Online Banking tools, you can simply deposit checks through the NASB Mobile Banking App. Do not worry, all your Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments won’t miss a beat. In addition, NASB customers enjoy fee free ATM withdrawals from any Money Pass ATM Nationwide. You can use NASB.com/Locations to find the closet one.
You can make an appointment with one of our Odessa employees to close out your account by visiting one of our NASB locations.

Yes. If you have a safe deposit box located in the Odessa branch, it must be closed by 7/31/21.  You will need to bring both keys with you to close it out.  Rental fees for the remainder of your term will be credited back to you at the time of closure. 

If the contents of the box are not removed by 7/31/21, the box will be drilled and the contents inventoried and held for safekeeping. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

If your CD was opened at the NASB Odessa branch, you will not be penalized for closing it prior to maturity if you do so by 9/30/21.
You are more than welcome to keep your NASB CD open until maturity. At which point, you would need to visit one of NASB’s other 10 branches to obtain your funds. If you do want to close it early, you will be able to do so without penalty if closed prior to 9/30/21.
