Community Involvement

Charitable Giving

NASB’s corporate giving philosophy is to provide resources and support for programs and foundations which aid in providing education, health, welfare and social services for children and families in need, and we concentrate our efforts towards organizations that achieve these missions.

Through donations and event sponsorships, we have been pleased to support many local charities and nonprofits that help improve the lives of those we serve. NASB donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to charitable organizations each year around the Kansas City metro.

NASB in the Community

Our team members are encouraged to volunteer their time to organizations in the communities they live and work. Our Volunteer Time Off Program allows associates paid time off to contribute volunteer hours to youth-focused organizations, schools, and community development and affordable housing programs. These volunteer efforts ensure that we are always standing by our neighbors, working together to make Kansas City and the surrounding areas great.

NASB Scholarships

The NASB Foundation was established in 1997 with the primary purpose being to award college scholarships to qualified graduating high school seniors within the communities in which NASB operates. The goal of the foundation is to assist students who have a high probability of success in college but may not be able to attend college without the financial help of the Foundation. Each year we donate tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships to public school students in our branch network.

Good Neighbor

As a home loan lender, NASB understands that the needs and circumstances of our customers may vary. For that reason, we have always offered a variety of loan programs to meet our borrowers’ needs. In additional to conventional loan programs, our portfolio lending programs provide additional options for individuals with unique financing needs.

NASB is committed to promoting homeownership in the underserved areas of the Kansas City community. Our Good Neighbor Programs provide flexible opportunities to low-to-moderate income borrowers, and to those financing homes in low-to-moderate income areas of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Our Branches

Our branch employees live, work and shop in Kansas City area communities just like our customers, and that’s why NASB invests in individuals who want to see our neighborhoods thrive. With 11 banking branches across six counties, we aim to create welcoming environments that serve as anchors for our communities.
